 CP Fitness & Training Package A

The ultimate coaching package for the athlete who wants unparalleled service and attention! Package A is designed for the select few athletes who want maximum advisement, feedback, one-on-one consultation, performance testing and unlimited access to their coach.

  • Initial consult to evaluate past training and develop future training goals.
  • Weekly individualized schedule with detailed workouts provided for each day of the week.
  • Twice monthly individual training and consultation sessions.
  • Determination of initial bike power zones and heart rate zones, with follow up at 8 and 16 weeks.
  • Analysis of running form and gait with follow ups at 8 and 16 weeks.
  • 2 individual swim video analysis sessions.
  • Access to Open Water Swimming.
  • Unlimited phone and email contact.
  • Specific consultation and planning sessions for the focus race as well as key races.
  • Access to weekly group run and swim sessions.

  • $50.00 toward the Rocky Mountain Triathlon Club membership fee or the club of your choice.

Bimonthly Consultation topics

  • Race Strategies for “A” races
    • Pre race meeting to discuss race strategy and preparation.
    • Post race meeting to discuss your results and future planning.
  • All other races
    • Pre race e-mail or phone call to discuss race strategy and preparation.
    • Post race e-mail or phone call to discuss your results and future planning.
  • Race Nutrition
    • Determination of general race nutrition needs through feedback and discussion.
    • Recommended race nutrition for all races.
    • Individual race nutrition meeting for “A” races.
    • Guidelines to periodizing general nutrition.

Cost

  • $50 initiation fee
  • $250 per month
  • Requires a 6 month commitment

CP Fitness & Training Package B

Package B is for the athlete who wants a high level of coaching with plenty of personal interaction and close monitoring of their progress. The “B” Plan is designed for those who want regular advisement, feedback, one-on-one consultation and performance testing.

  • Initial consult to evaluate past training and develop future training goals.
  • Weekly individualized schedule with detailed workouts provided for each day of the week.
  • Monthly individual training and consultation sessions.
  • Determination of initial bike power zones and heart rate zones, with follow up at 8 weeks.
  • Analysis of running form and gait with follow-ups at 8 weeks.
  • 2 individual swim video analysis sessions.
  • Unlimited phone and email contact.
  • Specific consultation and planning sessions for the focus race as well as key races.

Package C is for the athlete who wants a plan developed around their individual needs and goals with regular contact and feedback. The “C” plan is for those who want regular advisement, and feedback.

  • Initial consult to evaluate past training and develop future training goals.
  • Weekly individualized schedule with detailed workouts provided for each day of the week.
  • Determination of initial running/bike power zones and heart rate zones.
  • Analysis of running form and gait.
  • 1 individual swim video analysis sessions.
  • Unlimited phone and email contact.
  • General consultation and planning sessions for the focus race.
  • Access to weekly group run and swim sessions.
  • $50.00 toward the Rocky Mountain Triathlon Club membership fee or the club of your choice. (Requires a 6 month plan).
  • Pre race discussion for race strategy and preparation.

  • Requires a 3 month commitment

CP Fitness & Training Package D

Package D is for the athlete who wants a plan developed around their individual needs and goals with minimal contact.  Feedback is primarily in group situations and individual emails.  The “D” plan is for those who are comfortable with minimal guidance yet want or need slight guidance in their planning.

  • Initial consult to evaluate past training and develop future training goals.
  • Weekly individualized schedule with detailed workouts provided for each day of the week.
  • Unlimited phone and email contact.
  • General consultation and planning sessions for the focus race.
  • Access to weekly group run and swim sessions.
  • $50.00 toward the Rocky Mountain Triathlon Club membership fee or the club of your choice. (Requires a 6 month plan).
  • Pre race discussion for race strategy and preparation.

CP Fitness & Training Consultation and Services Package

1.  Consultation

Consultation is provided for athletes who are looking for assurance that their training plan and taper for their major races are right on target. The athlete’s background information and training program will be studied and analyzed.  Meetings will be held either face to face or via the phone to offer suggestions that will put your plan into action to achieve your goals.

Cost

  • $50.00 per hour which includes consultation and schedule review time
  • Monthly consultation to review plan progress is suggested

2.  Run Gait Analysis

Running gait is critical to fast, efficient running.  This analysis will be done on a treadmill or while running outside.  Your gait will be analyzed for efficiency regarding foot placement, arm carriage, posture, and cadence.  You will be taught drills, stretching and resistance activities that will improve your running performance.  A heart rate analysis will also provide you with your heart rate zones for better feedback regarding perceived effort and pace.

Cost

  • $75.00 per session

3.  Power Threshold

Learn your power watt output on the bike and how it relates to your heart rate.  Your power zones will be established as well as an assessment of your bike fit and your functional power threshold and power zones.
